Dr. Hobson completed his undergraduate degree at Ohio Northwestern University, after which he attended medical school at the Ohio State University. He completed an internship and residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined Shelby Surgical Associates in 1993 and has served in leadership roles at the practice. In addition, Dr. Hobson has served in several leadership roles at Carolinas HealthCare System Cleveland. He is board certified in general surgery and in endovascular medicine. His special interests include endovascular surgery, laparoscopic surgery, peripheral vascular disease and wound care.
