Smith is a board-certified physician assistant with a special interest in sports medicine, dermatology and women's health. He is an advanced practice provider in primary care medicine. He is the director of the Advanced Practice Provider Family Medicine Fellowship at Atrium Health Edison Square Family Medicine.
Smith loves to treat the entire family and was drawn to medicine to improve the health of those in need.
He received his master’s degree at Wake Forest University.
He is married with 4 children and 2 grandchildren. He loves the outdoors and enjoys playing most any sport and is an avid obstacle course racer, competing in around 5 races yearly.
