Dr. Metwally is an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN).
From a young age, she has been passionate about women's health. Her interest in obstetrics grew during medical school, when she gained more knowledge in the physiological workings of the human body.
She received multiple awards from the University of Florida, including the University of Florida Teaching Golden Apple Award, the Customer Service Key Award, the Best Quality and Safety Improvement Project Award, the Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident of the Year and the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Award.
She received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a residency at the University of Florida.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, cooking, traveling and running.
