Dr. Pokharel is board certified in internal medicine, specializing in the treatment of patients in the hospital.
He is a hospitalist at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center. He was promoted to adjunct associate professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville before joining Atrium Health.
He received his medical degree at Tribhuvan University and completed an internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center of Tufts University.
