Biography
“I was drawn to family medicine because of my desire to take care of a variety of patients. I want to be present for my patients in all aspects of their lives.”
Dr. Stegall is board-certified in family medicine and specializes in prenatal care, obstetrics, newborn care and pediatrics. She serves as the site director for the Union Track of the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program.
She has been recognized with the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Residency Union Site Faculty Award. She also received the Dr. Katherine Bray-Strickland Alumni Award from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and the Outstanding Young Alumnus/Alumna Award from Wingate University.
She first wanted to be a doctor so she could help others, as she believes medicine in its truest form is a calling to serve. She has a desire to learn more about disease processes, help patients achieve their goals and overcome struggles, and establish the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Stegall received her medical degree at East Carolina University and completed her residency at Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Her hobbies include traveling, RV camping, biking, swimming and jogging.
