Dr. Hongxuyang Yu is a neurologist who focuses on general neurology, neuroimmunology, epilepsy and movement disorders.
She is fascinated by the logical way in which the neurologic system functions, and she remains motivated to investigate how clusters of disparate symptoms can often be explained by lesions or deficits.
Dr. Yu received her medical degree at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. She completed residency in neurology at West Virginia University and a research fellowship in electroencephalography at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
She is married with a daughter. Outside of work, Dr. Yu enjoys exploring new restaurants, walking on trails, swimming and skating.
