As a parent herself, she understands the value of providing medical care that optimizes each child’s overall well-being.
Dr. Staton received her degree in osteopathic medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children’s Hospital. She was the recipient of a National Health Service Corps scholarship.
In her free time, she supports Special Olympics and other child development programs. She enjoys an active life with her husband and children, which includes running, beach trips and shopping outings. As accomplished musicians, Dr. Staton and her husband lead musical activities at their church.
