I have enjoyed seeing how psychotherapeutics, along with empathy and rapport, can be transformative for one's mental health.”
Dr. Walson is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. She specializes in perinatal psychiatry (psychiatric care for pregnant and postpartum individuals) and women's mental health.
She received her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency at ECU Health Medical Center and a fellowship in perinatal and women’s mental health at Northwestern Medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, staying active, reading, wheel throwing and quality time with loved ones.
