Pace is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), prenatal care, women's health, menopause, fertility, vaginal infections and diseases, birth control and endometrial biopsies.
She received the Atrium Health Patient's Choice Award, was named a Top Performing Advanced Clinical Practitioner and was the Outstanding Student in her master's of nursing class.
Pace was inspired after delivering babies in Zimbabwe, Africa. She observed that women were not always treated well and decided then to use her knowledge and experience to care for women.
She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University, her MSN as a family nurse practitioner from Houston Baptist University and completed an additional master's degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Pace enjoys playing the piano and is very involved in her church as a deacon and ordained minister. She loves long walks with her 3 grown children and one grand-dog. She is originally from the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and loves going back to visit family whenever possible.
