Biography

“Family medicine physicians must be familiar with all aspects of medicine so we can coordinate with specialists and provide the best evidence-based care. I’m inspired by seeing patients succeed with treatment, and I take pride in providing the best care and patient education I can.”

Dr. Jacob Frady is board certified in family medicine. He focuses on virtual primary care (telemedicine).

Family medicine appealed to him as a specialty because he can work with patients of all ages. He values the opportunities to coordinate care for people who have a wide variety of health conditions.

He received an Outstanding Resident of the Year Award from Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine and previously served as the medical director and team physician for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Dr. Frady received bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry at the University of North Carolina. He received his medical degree at East Carolina University and completed residency in the Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency program.

Away from work, Dr. Frady enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog. He especially likes running, hiking and paddleboarding, and he aspires to visit all of the U.S. National Parks. He considers himself a lifelong learner and is studying health informatics as a way to contribute to the betterment of medicine.
