“I love the bonds I develop with my patients. The favorite part of my job is educating my patients and families while building trusting relationships with them. Watching and supporting children as they grow from newborns through adolescence is a magical thing.”
Jaden Light is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides well- and sick-child visits. Conditions she treats include anxiety, depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Her career choice was inspired by her lifelong love of caring for children. She especially enjoys interacting with children and the surprises that keep daily life interesting.
Light received her master’s degree in nursing at Duke University.
Outside of work, she loves to stay active with exercise classes, lifting weights and walking her golden retriever, Lily. Light was a collegiate volleyball player and still takes part in games when she can.
