“I wanted to be a surgical physician’s assistant prior to starting PA school. When I graduated, an opportunity in vascular surgery was available, and I ended up loving everything about working in this specialty. Enjoying what you do for a living makes it easy to go to work every day.”
Jamie McCoy is a board-certified physician assistant. Her clinical interest is in surgery, including general and vascular surgical conditions.
McCoy received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Western University of Health Sciences.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 children. Prior to moving to North Carolina, McCoy and her family lived in Southern California, and loved going to the beach. They are excited to spend time fishing, boating and doing other fun activities on the lake.
