Dr. Jasmin Hamlett is board certified in family medicine. She focuses on preventive care and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She provides wellness exams, health screenings and weight management.
Her background in public health influenced her desire to practice medicine to help patients achieve and maintain good health. She believes in the value of screenings and is especially interested in preventing obesity, which can lead to increased morbidity and mortality.
Dr. Hamlett received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Duke University and her master’s degree in public health at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. She received her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed her residency training at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio.
She and her family enjoy exploring Charlotte in their free time. Dr. Hamlett especially loves checking out local nature trails and practicing yoga.
