He founded the neurogastroenterology and motility disorders program at Levine Children’s in 2009, focusing his practice on the diagnosis and treatment of refractory constipation and fecal incontinence, bowel management for colorectal motility disorders, neurogenic bowel, esophageal and aerodigestive motility disorders, gastrointestinal and nutritional management of children with complex medical problems and special medical needs.

He also specializes in GERD (Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease) gastroparesis, cyclic vomiting syndrome and abdominal migraine, GI manifestations of mitochondrial disorders and dysautonomia, irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, nausea and abdominal pain. Dr. Dranove works closely with his colleagues on PENFS (auricular electrical stimulator) for refractory functional GI symptoms.
