Providing excellent primary care leads to a healthier, more personally empowered population, cuts national health care costs and allows specialists to do what they are passionate about without having to worry whether a patient's other needs are being met.

I’m board certified in family medicine and specialize in internal medicine. I’m skilled in preventive medicine, diabetes, hypertension, minor dermatologic procedures, sports medicine and joint injections. I enjoy general practice because I appreciate the chance to stay up to date on all aspects of healthcare and disease.

I won the Atrium Health Louisa Littleton Award for underserved care.

I received my medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.

Outside of work, I love to cook for my family and try new recipes and techniques I learn on food blogs and cooking competition programs. I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts about a variety of topics, such as history, science, comedy and health care.
