Treats Only AdultsCarpenter is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has clinical interests in vascular surgery, venous disease, varicose veins, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hemodialysis access for kidney patients.
She is the advanced practice provider (APP) clinical lead in vascular surgery at Atrium Health Cabarrus Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute.
Carpenter received the Shirley D. DeVoe Communication Award from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Nursing.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the State University of New York. Carpenter is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
She is married and enjoys the outdoors, boating, walking and spending time with family and friends.
