Dr. Burke is board certified in internal medicine. She specializes in sick and well visits and the management of acute and chronic illnesses.
She received an Atrium Health Top 10 in Internal Medicine Award and was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for diabetes care and patient-centered medical home care, a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care.
Dr. Burke received her medical degree at East Carolina University and completed a residency at Wake Forest University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters. She also likes golfing and long-distance running.
