Childers is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She focuses on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology.
Her rotations during her nurse practitioner training drew her to focus on cardiology. As a native of the Mooresville-Lake Norman area, she is committed to making a difference in the region she calls home.
Childers received her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her miniature dachshund and flock of chickens and ducks. She likes to read mystery and adventure books, sing in her church choir, travel and visit the beach with friends and family.
