Smalley-Adqui is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in multiple sclerosis and other conditions that cause damage to the nervous system.
Smalley-Adqui grew up wanting to help her community and decided to volunteer at the local hospital as a family liaison during college. She saw how nurses impacted patients and her future was sealed.
She received her master's degree in nursing at the University of Cincinnati.
Smalley-Adqui, her husband and 2 children have a small urban farm where they enjoy working every day. They also like hiking, going to parks and spending time with extended family.
