Jennifer Yajing Zeng, MD
- Family Medicine
“Family medicine allows me to be part of my patients’ lives in a meaningful way, from welcoming a newborn to supporting aging parents, often within the same family. I provide care in the context of daily life, family and community, which helps give me a sense of purpose in my work.”
Dr. Jennifer Zeng is board certified in family medicine.
She values the challenge of balancing acute concerns with long-term management, while keeping prevention at the forefront. She is especially committed to underserved populations, where building trust and providing steady, accessible care can make a lasting difference.
Dr. Zeng received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed the UNC Family Medicine Residency Program. Additionally, she received a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of North Carolina.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and 2 children. They love caring for their 2 cats, 2 dogs and a flock of chickens.
