Biography

“I have always believed the best way for me to spend my time on Earth is by helping others. I’m passionate about delivering the highest standard of care to patients. To quote Ralph Waldo Emerson: ‘To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.’"

Jessica Baldwin is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She has clinical interests in pre- and post-operative transplant patients.

Baldwin’s previous role as a bedside nurse in a surgical-trauma intensive care unit exposed her to a broad spectrum of patients, ranging from those dealing with acute trauma to those undergoing various stages of surgery. This diverse experience has been invaluable in shaping her skills and understanding of patient care. After completing her doctorate in nursing, she had a newfound passion for focusing on the transplant patient population.

She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of South Carolina.

Outside of work, Baldwin embraces the delightful chaos of family life as a devoted wife and a mother of 2. Her secret to maintaining balance involves weaving self-care into her routine, whether diving into captivating fantasy books or breaking a sweat while working out. She has a passion for fostering a love for reading with her children and feels it’s the small, cherished moments that bring depth and meaning to her life.
