Biography

“With proper support and treatment, many children and adolescents are able to overcome the impact of trauma. My goal is to empower traumatized youth to heal and grow in a safe and supportive environment.”

Conley is a licensed psychotherapist who works with children and adolescents. She is skilled in treating children who have experienced trauma, and her goal is to empower them with the skills necessary to navigate the ups and downs of life in a healthy, strong, safe and successful way.

She has a special interest in trauma and PTSD, loss and grief, LGBTQ populations, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships and emotional management. She provides therapies such as trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), gender affirming therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Conley chose to become a therapist after working as a middle school teacher and counselor and realizing that many students needed mental and emotional support to succeed.

She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Central Michigan University and her master’s degree in counseling at Winthrop University.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and her dog. She loves running, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, sailing, watching college football and playing fantasy football with friends. She also enjoys photography and reading, particularly true crime, psychological thrillers or suspenseful fiction.
