Biography

“I have always loved working with children. I am continually inspired by their strength and resilience. Helping families navigate the often-winding road of congenital heart disease is a privilege, and I hope to be a source of support for patients and their families.”

Dr. Jessica Daniels is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. She specializes in congenital heart disease in children.

She feels fortunate to devote her life to helping others and strives to have a meaningful impact on people’s lives through her work.

Dr. Daniels received her medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia, now part of Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed residency in pediatrics at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. Dr. Daniels completed a pediatric intensive care fellowship at Vanderbilt University and an ECMO fellowship in cardiac intensive care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

Away from work, she loves spending time with her dog, Potter, who is named after the Harry Potter character from her favorite books. Dr. Daniels also enjoys paddleboarding, sailing, relaxing on a beach or any activities near the water.
