Jessica Thiel is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP). She focuses on caring for older adults with cancer, specifically managing cancer-related symptoms and geriatric syndromes.
She was initially drawn to this specialty due to a family experience with cancer. Since graduating from nursing school and throughout her career, she has always worked in the oncology field.
Thiel received her master’s degree in nursing with an oncology specialty at Duke University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. Thiel especially enjoys reading, exercising, exploring Charlotte's parks and restaurants and traveling to nearby beaches.
