Dr. Jewell Carr is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Carr chose family medicine because it fits her personality. She values the chance to work alongside her patients to achieve their health goals, improve the health of her community through advocacy and see patients of all ages and genders.
She has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine and was a finalist for an Atrium Health Teal Acorn Award.
Dr. Carr received her medical degree at Wake Forest University and completed the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency program.
When she’s not working, she can usually be found in or near a pool or the ocean. She loves fantasy and sci-fi books and movies. Dr. Carr also enjoys cooking recipes from “America’s Test Kitchen” for her friends and family.
