Biography
“Many sleep disorders can be readily diagnosed, and successful treatment can dramatically improve patients' quality of life and occupational functioning.”
Dr. DuBose is board certified in sleep medicine, psychiatry and preventive medicine. He specializes in sleep disorders. He is skilled in treating obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, REM (rapid eye movement) behavior disorder, sleep-related eating disorders and sleep hypoventilation.
He has always been interested in the science of how and why we sleep. Though much has been learned about sleep over the last 50 years, Dr. DuBose feels there is still much more to learn.
Dr. DuBose received his medical degree at Duke University and completed a residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. He followed that with a fellowship at Stanford University.
He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports—mostly football and baseball, and running or hiking outdoors.
