Biography
As part of Atrium Health, John B. Martinie, MD, FACS, is transforming the delivery of healthcare. Dr. Martinie is an international thought leader, expert and published scholar in the field of robotic liver, pancreas and bile duct surgery. He also trains other surgeons in the use of surgical robotic systems. Dr. Martinie's research includes clinical trials for pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma. He is a member of numerous surgical societies, including the American College of Surgeons, and holds leadership positions in the AHPBA and Fellowship Council.
