John P. Wynne, MD

Dr. Wynne is board certified in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine. He specializes in pneumonia, lung masses and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). Dr. Wynne serves as the co-director of Resident Critical Care Education at Carolinas HealthCare System Pulmonary Care - Medical Center Plaza.

He received his medical degree at Florida State University and completed his residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Wynne then completed his fellowship at the University of Florida.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog. He also plays guitar and soccer.
