He is the chief operating officer for Atrium Health Primary Care Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Dr. Collins received his bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University and his medical degree at East Carolina University. He completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Collins and his wife, Shannon, have 7 children. As a proud father, he’s honored that he and his wife added to their biological family through adoption. Their marriage and lives are enriched by the diversity and stories represented by each of their children.
