Desamero is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who focuses on primary care.
His career choice was inspired by his desire to promote sustainable and healthy lifestyle changes, help mitigate illness and foster disease prevention.
Desamero received a master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Away from work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, weight training and yoga.
