In-person visits onlyDr. Jonathan Peyton is an oral medicine specialist who cares for patients with a wide range of oral conditions, including oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland disorders, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), orofacial pain, dry mouth, burning mouth syndrome as well as pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions.
Dr. Peyton has served on the board of directors of the Charlotte Dental Society and is a recipient of the Lester Burket Memorial Award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
He earned his dental degree at the European University of Madrid and worked in private practice dentistry in Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom. He completed both a general practice and an oral medicine residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Outside of work, Dr. Peyton enjoys an active lifestyle playing rugby, skiing and hiking when possible.
