Dr. Walker is board certified in urology and specializes in pediatrics. He treats multiple conditions. These include hydronephrosis (swelling of kidneys), kidney stones and Wilms tumors.
He treats ureteropelvic junction obstructions (blockages), ureteroceles (swelling of the ureter), bladder and voiding dysfunctions, varicoceles (enlarged veins), hypospadias (birth defects of the urethra), undescended testicles, circumcisions, recurrent infections and cancers.
His fascination with complex surgeries and medical conditions led him to specialize in urology. He especially enjoys working with children and their families.
Dr. Walker’s clinical research interests include pediatric renal tumors, pediatric urologic oncology, vesicoureteral reflux and undescended testicles.
Dr. Walker received his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. He completed residency at the University of Kentucky and a fellowship in pediatric urology at the University of Colorado. Following his fellowship, Dr. Walker received the Urology Faculty Residency Teacher of the Year award at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, taking part in sports and trying new cuisines with his wife and their 4 children. Dr. Walker is also a college football fan and a skier.
