Biography
Dr. Sechler is board certified in general pediatrics and in pediatric hospital medicine.
Dr. Sechler provides pediatric inpatient care at Atrium Health’s Levine Children's Hospital and Cabarrus Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital as a member of the CHIPS inpatient teams. He also provides newborn care at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center. He has roles in quality improvement, utilization review and assists in the optimization of Atrium Health’s electronic medical records program.
Additionally, Dr. Sechler has been an associate professor of pediatrics with the Atrium Health Department of Pediatrics and faculty of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine Charlotte campus, which is now transitioning to a campus of the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He also serves as faculty for the pediatric residents at the CMC Myers Park Pediatric Clinic and Levine Children’s Hospital and as an instructor of physician assistant students from Wingate University.
Dr. Sechler received his medical degree at the University of Florida. He completed residency at Children's of Alabama.
