Dr. Sechler is an associate professor of pediatrics with Carolinas Medical Center Department of Pediatrics, and faculty of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine Charlotte campus. Dr. Sechler's primary clinical responsibilities are providing pediatric inpatient care at the Levine Children's Hospital at Carolina Medical Center as a member of the CHIPS inpatient teams and providing care of newborns at the Carolina Medical Center Main newborn nursery. Dr. Sechler also serves as faculty for the pediatric residents at the CMC Myers Park Pediatric Clinic. Dr. Sechler also has rolls in Quality Improvement, Utilization Review, and assists in optimization of our electronic medical record--Canopy. Prior to his 2007 arrival at Carolina Medical Center, Dr. Sechler had the privilege of working as a pediatrician in Asheville, NC, for twelve years. During that time Dr. Sechler also served as adjunct faculty with UNC School of Medicine and the Mountain Area Health Education Center Family Medicine residency.
