Having the chance to be the calming voice to new parents, confused teenagers and parents of sick children is very gratifying work. Everyone deserves the chance for a fulfilling life, and it’s a blessing to be able to help people along the path.

I was drawn to pediatrics early in my medical training and always felt that kids seemed to naturally gravitate toward me.

I’m board certified in general pediatrics.

I have clinical interests in:

• Newborns
• Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) management
• Depression management
• Anxiety management

I received my undergraduate degree and my medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I completed residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Outside of work, I spend time with my wife, friends, parents and in-laws. I am an active runner, hiker, cyclist and disc golfer. I have summited dozens of peaks, including Denali, the highest peak in North America, and I am always on the lookout for a good physical challenge.
