Biography

“I enjoy the relationships I have with my patients, being there for them through the years. My goal is to help preserve and restore their health so they can enjoy a good quality of life.”

Dr. Dunai is board certified in internal medicine with subspecialties in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She treats patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), low testosterone, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal conditions and thyroid cancers.

Dr. Dunai received a Certificate of Recognition for delivering Quality Diabetes Care from NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance). She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association.

She works with other providers as a team to help patients reach their health goals in a way that best aligns with their values and circumstances. Her hope is to guide her patients on healthy lifestyle choices to minimize the need for medications and aggressive interventions.

She received her medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia and completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh. She followed that with a fellowship at Washington University.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and sons. She loves running, hiking, playing tennis, reading and time spent with friends.
