Biography

“It is a privilege to take care of patients during the worst times of their lives.”

Dr. Kaley El-Arab is board certified in emergency medicine. She focuses on critical care medicine and treating critically ill patients in emergency conditions.

She was drawn to her field for the opportunities to care for critically ill patients, work with a multidisciplinary team and develop relationships with patients and their families.

Dr. El-Arab received her bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University and her medical degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed residency in emergency medicine at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In her leisure time, she and her husband like hiking, trying new restaurants, birding and spending time with their 2 Maine coon cats. Dr. El-Arab is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction audiobooks, which she enjoys during her daily commute and evening runs.
