Dr. Eaker is board certified in pediatrics. She chose pediatric medicine because it combines her desire to help others with her love for science and watching children grow into healthy, successful young adults. She finds their energy and enthusiasm contagious.
She received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina and completed her residency and internship at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center.
She loves spending time with her husband and 2 sons. They love to travel, explore and take weekend trips to the mountains to go hiking and camping. She spends a lot of free time chauffeuring her boys to taekwondo practice, Boy Scouts, sports practices and piano lessons. When she has a quiet moment, she also enjoys photography, baking and reading.
