“My desire is to do whatever I can to make children and their families feel comfortable and to understand their goals and plans while in the hospital.”
Phillips is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in pediatric hematology-oncology at Levine Children's Cancer & Blood Disorders, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
She has always enjoyed taking care of children and has focused her career on the pediatric population. She feels she can truly make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families.
For Phillips, hematology and oncology are very special fields that allow providers not only to take care of patients clinically, but also to learn and use new therapies to help improve outcomes for children now and in the future.
She received her master’s degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Phillips and her husband love to spend time outdoors with their dog, Murphy.
