Biography
Growing up, I found joy in helping others and learning about science and the human body. I began my career as a pediatric nurse and spent five years caring for children at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. During that time, I realized I wanted to do even more to help children stay healthy and avoid hospitalization, which led me to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. Today, I love working in primary care, where I can watch my patients grow and develop while I partner with families to build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
My patients and their families motivate me every day. Whether I’m sharing a laugh, answering a thoughtful question or helping a child through a difficult time, each interaction reminds me why I chose this profession. My goal is for every family to feel supported, informed and confident. We’re a team, working together to help each child flourish and become the best version of themselves.
My approach to care focuses on relationship building, health promotion and patient education. I strive to make every child and family feel heard, valued and understood, while providing personalized care that fits their unique needs and goals. I enjoy getting to know my patients beyond their medical history, from their favorite hobbies to the names of their pets, so each visit feels personal and meaningful.
I am a board-certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner providing care for children from newborn through age 21.
My clinical interests include:
- Well-child care
- Sports physicals
- Asthma
- Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd)
- Mental health
- Menstrual concerns
- Breastfeeding support
Specialized services and procedures I offer include:
- Wart removal
- Ear wax removal and cleansing
- Adolescent motivational interviewing
- Preventive care and health promotion
- Management of common pediatric and adolescent health conditions
I'm committed to lifelong learning and providing evidence-based care. I’m a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Through these organizations, I regularly participate in continuing medical education and attend professional conferences to stay current on the latest pediatric health care recommendations and best practices.
I speak English and some conversational Spanish. For families who prefer another language, professional medical interpreters are always available to help ensure clear communication and excellent care.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through exercise, hiking and roller skating. I love trying new restaurants with my husband and spending time with our fur baby, Ruby.
