“Early on in my training, I knew I wanted to treat children affected by neurologic disease, particularly those with epilepsy. Epilepsy is a constantly evolving field with new treatments and therapies being discovered all of the time. I aim to spend my life attempting to improve the lives of my patients, treating not only the disease but the person as a whole.”
Dr. Kayli Maney is board certified in neurology with a special qualification in child neurology.
She has conducted research on sudden unexplained death in epilepsy patients (SUDEP) as well as the use of cannabidiol (CBD) in alternating hemiplegia of childhood.
Dr. Maney received her medical degree at Florida State University and completed a residency in child neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Duke University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and rescue dog, Jack. She loves being outdoors, particularly going for walks and gardening.
