Coffin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
His mom is a nurse, so talking with her gave him the encouragement to apply to nursing school after college. After graduation, he worked in an emergency department as a registered nurse (RN) while attending graduate school to become a nurse practitioner (NP).
He received his master’s degree in nursing at Tennessee State University.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and child at local parks and playgrounds. He also enjoys reading and learning new languages.
