My primary goal is to provide practical and scientific information to help prevent diseases and their complications, especially for patients living with diabetes. I learn a lot from my patients' personal stories and experiences, and oftentimes I believe when we listen to our patients, they provide us with diagnostic clues that help us solve their problems.

I’m board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. I specialize in treating:

I received my medical degree at the University of North Carolina, completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and a fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

As a self-described “#boymom,” I love spending time with my husband and children, traveling and exploring new cultures. I enjoy walking and hiking, listening to inspirational podcasts and playing volleyball.
