Seeing patients at their sickest and then through education, close follow-up, proper medications, and lifestyle modifications, seeing them get better and enjoy life again brings me so much joy. My patients and colleagues challenge me daily to be a better person, and I learn something new every day.”
White is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in cardiology with a subspecialty in heart failure.
She is the chief advanced practice provider (APP) at Atrium Health Sanger Health & Vascular Institute’s Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Services.
After finishing nurse practitioner training, White completed a yearlong post-graduate fellowship exploring all the different subspecialties in cardiology. During that time, she became passionate about treating patients with heart failure and the multidisciplinary team approach to care.
White received her nurse practitioner training at the University of North Carolina.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 young children and their labradoodle, Oliver. They love being outdoors, traveling and exploring new places.
