Edwards is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. She has a special interest in human trafficking, intimate partner violence, self-esteem issues and trauma. She was nominated for Social Worker of the Year for Mecklenburg County in 2019.
She received her master’s degree in social work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In her free time, she enjoys learning about new music, trying new foods and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with animals, riding horses and making ceramics.
