“I have always had a passion for preventive medicine, women’s health and mental health awareness. I encourage patients to take an active approach to their health.”
Dr. Richardson is board certified in family medicine. She specializes in sleep medicine.
After working several years in primary care, she saw how sleep difficulties impacted the lives of her patients and played a huge role in several of their comorbidities. She is now dedicated to diagnosing and treating pathologies that affect sleep quality and educating patients on the importance of sleep health. Improving sleep has a profound influence and benefits a person’s life by improving their overall quality of health.
Dr. Richardson received her medical degree at Meharry Medical College. She completed residency in the Atrium Health Family Medicine Residency program and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Emory University.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and black Lab dog, working out and going to theater shows.
