Biography
I chose a career in medicine because of my own life experiences. I grew up in an underserved community as the child of immigrant parents. From a young age, I often helped my family navigate the health care system. I saw how confusing and overwhelming it could feel, especially when language or access became a barrier. Those moments inspired me to pursue medicine so I could support others through similar challenges. What motivates me every day is my parents’ sacrifices and resilience. Their hard work continues to remind me why compassionate, accessible care matters
I knew this was the right path when I realized how meaningful it is to help patients and families feel heard, supported and less overwhelmed during vulnerable moments. My goal is for everyone I serve to feel respected, understood and genuinely cared for at every visit.
My approach to care centers on building trust and listening closely to each person’s concerns. I believe health care works best when it’s a partnership. I work with patients to make decisions together, and I share information in a clear and honest way so people feel informed and empowered.
When you schedule a visit with me, you can expect someone who truly listens, treats you with compassion and respects your voice. I want you to leave feeling supported, confident and comfortable with your care plan.
I am a board-certified physician assistant. I focus on providing thoughtful, patient-centered care that meets you where you are. I’m committed to ongoing learning so I can offer care that is both knowledgeable and compassionate. I speak English and am a native Spanish speaker.
One of my proudest career highlights is being a first-generation college and graduate student. I completed both my undergraduate education and physician assistant training while navigating the process largely on my own. This experience helps me connect with patients who may feel unsure, overwhelmed or unclear about where to start. It also strengthens my commitment to advocating for patients and helping them navigate their care with confidence.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and taking care of my own well-being. I love Pilates classes and working out, spending time with my partner, exploring new food spots around the city and traveling whenever I can. I am very family-oriented and enjoy hosting get-togethers with loved ones. When life feels busy, taking a walk while listening to new music helps me reset.
I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey and providing care that feels personal, respectful and supportive.
