Gallagher is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She is an advanced practice provider (APP) who specializes in gynecologic conditions and prenatal care.
She was a labor and delivery nurse for 15 years and decided to pursue additional training as a family nurse practitioner (FNP). After graduation as an FNP, she decided she wanted to continue caring for OB/GYN patients.
Gallagher received her nurse practitioner training at Winston Salem State University.
She is a native of Salisbury, NC, and is married with 2 children and a shih tzu. Gallagher enjoys watching her children play lacrosse and volleyball, traveling, going to the beach, concerts and spending time with family and friends.

The provider was excellent. Attentive, kind, and informative. The problem is that I was seen on Wednesday and some of my results were available that day, but they still hadn't been read by Friday, and it appears I have something that needs treatment. Generally and atrium practices, I hear from the provider by the next business day. I did send a question about this in the portal.

She prescribed a med that was too expensive for me, she cha get the prescription per my pharmacists recommendation. More expensive than 1st med. Disappointed there is not something out there for people who have a fixed income. It was noted onthe papers they sent home with me but not discussed with me.????
I had a new provider today, Kim Gallagher, and I was extremely pleased with her. She was so sweet and very informative about my questions. She was concerned with my questions and I liked that.
It was my first time seeing this provider. She answered all my questions and listened to my concerns! I didn't feel as she judged me and she was very understanding. The lady who assisted me before seeing the provider was amazing as well. She also listened to my concerns and relayed the information perfectly to the provider. Thanks so much!
