Dr. Heyward is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
The positive experience she had with her obstetrician during pregnancy led her to her specialty.
She received her medical degree at East Carolina University and completed a residency at Temple University. She is a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and their 2 daughters. She likes to cuddle with her dog, stay active lifting weights and cheer for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
