Koren Tejan-Thomas is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology. Before becoming an advanced practice provider, she spent close to a decade as a cardiac registered nurse and worked in the medical ICU caring for patients with complex and critical conditions. Moving into the nurse practitioner role felt like a natural continuation of her commitment to high quality cardiac care.
Tejan-Thomas received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Missouri.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, son and their dog. As a family of food lovers, they enjoy exploring new restaurants, taking in soccer games,and relaxing together whenever they can.
