Biography
“I enjoy practicing allergy and immunology because allergists can truly make a positive change in patients' lives by listening to their concerns and working with them to bring relief to their allergic and immunologic conditions.”
Dr. Corey is board certified in pediatric medicine with a specialty in allergy and immunology. She has clinical interests in eczema, asthma, aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD), immunodeficiencies, food allergies and urticaria/angioedema (hives and swelling), but she cares for the spectrum of allergic diseases.
She received her medical degree at Mercer University and completed residency at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital. She completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Vanderbilt University.
When she's not working, Dr. Corey enjoys visiting local parks with her husband, Thomas, and their rescue pup, Bailey. She also enjoys baking, cultivating houseplants and spending time with family.
